1 package (1.6 oz.) Mexene Chili Mix®
1 cup chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound ground turkey
1 cup chicken broth
1 10 oz. can Casa Fiesta Diced
Tomatoes & Green Chilies® |
1/3 cup Dijon Mustard
2 tablespoons Mexene Chili Powder® 1/8 teaspoon of Bruce's "Ma
Cayenne" Red Pepper®
1 15 oz. can Mexene Chili Beans®
1 8 oz. can corn, drained.
Tortilla chips and shredded Cheddar cheese, optional |
In 3-quart saucepan, over medium-high heat, saute onions and garlic in oil
until tender. Add turkey; cook until done, stirring occasionally to break
up meat. Drain. Stir in chicken broth, tomatoes, mustard, chili powder and
pepper. Heat to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in beans
and corn; cook for 5 minutes.
Serve topped with tortilla chips and/or shredded cheese if desired.
