Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut chicken into serving pieces, rinse under
cold water and set aside. In a large baking pan, with one inch lip, space
chicken evenly, skin side up. Coat on all sides with the above ingredients
except water and barbecue sauce. Once well coated on all sides, return to
the skin side up position. Add water into the bottom of the baking pan and
place on center rack of oven. Bake approximately one hour or until chicken
is well browned. Using a one inch brush, coat chicken well with barbecue
sauce and allow to cook an additional ten to fifteen minutes. Remove and
serve.
