Plant 1 - New Iberia, LA:

Hot sauce line

Increased demand has required the addition of a new 12-ounce Hot Sauce line which was installed in Spring, 2007. This increases the number of hot sauce production lines in operation to six.

Two new packing lines were also installed for producing kits to meet the demand for multi-purpose and convenience.

Plant 2 - Lozes, LA:

To promote efficiency and environmental improvements, a new methane gas system for fuel cost reduction was completed in 2005. Now in its third year of operation, it is again being expanded for greater use.

Due to increased demand, new higher-speed, continuous rotary retorts were installed in 2006-2007 to increase production capacity and reduce the cost of production.

Yams canning line

Plant 3 - Wilson, NC:

Yam flake operation

Increased sales of baking products prompted construction for the expansion of our dehydrated Yam Flake operation that has more than doubled capacity.

Multiple projects were completed to install new continuous cooker rotary coolers to increase production capacity of Bruce's Yams and other products.

Eco-system expansion for waste water treatment:

  • Second major spray field completed in 2005 to further our commitment to the environment.
